At Three Moose Meadow we understand that travelers to Homer, Alaska want to experience Alaska. We offer private cottages in a peaceful and secluded setting. Our 20-acre site is just a mile from Homer and connects to an 800-acre wildlife refuge.  Moose are common in this area so have your cameras ready!  In addition to the views and wildlife, there is a self-guided nature trail on site.

Each cottage is strikingly hand-crafted with local logs, and all have fireplaces and an Alaska book and video library so you can curl up next to a warm fire and relax with a good book.   All are fully furnished, exceptionally clean and smoke free.  Please see the pictures and descriptions below.

The Cabin Hideaway is a hand-hewn work of art. It was built using local logs and a 500 year-old building style. Outside it is charming and features a large porch, porch swing, gas grill and a nice view of mountains and glaciers. Inside you are treated warmly to a wood-burning fireplace, hardwood floors, kitchen, bathroom and TV/VCR. It has a queen bed and a single upstairs, and a double futon downstairs in front of the fireplace. It will comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests. It is secluded in the woods and only minutes from Homer. 2 night minimum stay.

The Cottage Hideaway overlooks an
800 acre wildlife refuge and is so secluded, only the moose will find you! The cottage has all the amenities of the cabin; kitchen, bath, hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, fireplace, large deck with a porch swing and gas grill and a beautiful mountain view. In addition it also has an oversized Jacuzzi tub, and a private, tree-top balcony off the upstairs bedroom.
